Very difficult people to reach. Called NY consulate and got recorded message that I had called outside their business hours, which they state to be 8.30 am to 5 pm. I called at 2 pm on a Tuesday, so how could that be outside their business hours? Plus, no option to leave a message. Since NY consulate doesn't have email address listed, thought maybe I could direct my question to the NZ Embassy in Washington by email. Yet when tried to get to their website kept getting error messages, so unable to contact any of them by any of the means I am accustomed to using.
