These jerks have always been the very worst of all industries in how they treat their customers, I mean the Cox name is synonymous with getting screwed over, but today these morons even topped themselves! I called because my bill that is supposed to be on a two-year contract was $22 more that it was supposed to be. But that's not even the problem. These geniuses said I needed a PIN (have never set a PIN on the account) or I had to answer a security question to access the account. Sure, I'll answer the security question, but no the only answer to that question is not what they had - there is only one answer to "what is my maternal grandmother's maiden name." SO, THESE MORONS LET SOMEONE ELSE ACCESS MY ACCOUNT AND SET A SECURITY QUESTION!!! They told me I would have to go to a Cox store and show my ID to regain access to my account. They compromised the security of my account and then told me I have to travel to where they have a store to regain access to my account?!?!? AM I TAKING CRAZY PILLS HERE!?!?!?! Oh, there is another option, they could call my home number on the account to verify it's me. Well, when we moved nine months ago THEY LOST OUR NUMBER AND WERE SUPPOSED TO GET IT BACK AND REINSTALL IT BUT NEVER DID! I gave up calling on this issue after three attempts even though I am paying for a phone line. If they think customers are stupid enough not to understand this is by design to get them to pay overcharges, we're not. I did not know human beings could be this stupid. I already pulled my TV advertising for my business from Cox years ago because they kept raising my bill. I guess I'll just stop paying the bill now and get satellite when they turn it off. Truly, truly hopeless.

I have internet with Cox currently but it’s too slow and everytime I call to get assistance I don’t get any help and the person on the other end of the phone always has an attitude and is very rude. I have been with Cox for two years now and currently I’m paying for a internet service that doesn’t even work. I’m looking for a better service provider since they done seem to care about they’re customers.
