A work in progress. Very awesome setting with a couple lakes, right on the river, cool old lodge and cabins, with some trails. The drive in is a bit rough, but that is common in this area. Most of the cool stuff is a mile plus down a hilly gravel road. Only reason it doesn't get a 5 from me is because the site is not quite done yet. Views on the way in and out are nice when there are no leaves on the trees. Gives you a panoramic view of the surrounding hilltops.

I've been past it on the river but never stayed there so can't really rate it ... But from the river it looks like a very nice place

A place to retreat and relax. Historical, peaceful and relaxing. Next to Current River

Nice place for hiking. Pine and Oak trees.

Not much of a State Park. Nice area. Some work being done. Historic buildings that I guess belong to a club or can be rented out, a few hiking trails, access to the river, a few picnic areas. No bathrooms, only portable toilets, and if you're going to have a gravel road, grade them.
