Not really sure what that one review was about. We had a wonderfully relaxing time. Park is small but relatively quiet compared to some other places we have stayed where college kids come out to party. We were charged by two feral cats(never thought I would say that) that live on the park but other than that we had a great time. Our hosts were wonderful and the park is pretty clean.

Robertsville State Park "Robs" you of a good time. If I could, I would give it a negative 5 stars. I can't put my hate for this place into words. Let me walk you through my whole experience. As soon as we entered the area of the park, we were met with a bunch of people that looked like they were from the movie "Deliverance". We ignored this and continued on our drive. We made it and we were disappointed to see there was no way to fish. On our way back up to the car, we first heard and later saw a man having intercourse with his dog. My little sister had to see this. Also, we found a bong and countless heroin needles spread out on the trails. By then we were running. If you have a weak stomach, stop reading here. A woman was dripping her feces down her legs, right on the side of our car. I kicked her out of the way and we flew ou like the Dukes of Hazard. Do not go here! This is not a joke! I felt terrorized and threatened the whole experience! I wish I could forget it all, but I can't. Do yourself a favor. Don't even say the name of Robertsville Park, or it might just rob you of your life.

Ordered some BBQ from a guy named Nathan in the town and needed a place to eat it. The park was the perfect spot. Beautiful!

It's great to see a state park that's not clobbered with 200 campsites just a little tiny gem.... I hope it continues to be a little small community of campers
