Wonderful little park at one of the most recognized spots on the planet. There is a small gravel Trail a few hundred feet, from the parking lot to the actual point. There is a small shelter with descriptive posters, and a men's and women's potra-potty type toilet (which is clean and has plenty of toilet paper every time I visited.) Most maps have the entrance to the park as the coordinates on Google Maps you have to drive about another 2 miles on a one and a half Lane Gravel Road to actually get to the parking lot for the park. Lots of good bird watching at the Audubon Society building on the way in.

This is kind of a magical place; I can't explain it. There really is an energy change where the two rivers meet. Lots of interesting birds to watch but the draw here is the Confluence itself. It's a bit of a drive, if you're visiting St. Louis, but totally worth the time.

Fascinating, but flood damaged. Has obviously been very nice though, prior to most recent flood. Glad it was open- maintenance worker said it takes forever to drain once the levies are breached. Still enjoyed the visit..... and it is free.

Worth the drive out to the point. Very nice how the parking is very close to the rivers. Only a short distance to walk and path is fairly easy and level.
