Dr. Kimberly A. Adams, MD

One year ago today I started going to Dr. Adams for my weight. I had tried many other doctors and I never saw any results. Dr. Adams was such a positive motivator. After one year I have lost 40 pounds and my cholesterol dropped by 140 points. I feel great! I know the wait times can be long but for me it was well worth it. I can give up 1 hour a month to feel and look 100% better.

The wait is long but, she's wprth the wait. She listens and explains things to you. Staff is great and a very clean office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Adams since 2004. So was my Mom until she passed in 2008. Dr. Adams was always my go to Dr. Great patient rapport, very thorough and caring. However, the waits in the office are rediculous. You can plan on spending hours there. But I am sorry to say that today, after being her patient for a long time, I found it necessary to find a different Dr. I am scheduled for oral surgery, and needed a pre-op exam before it. I called Monday morning. The phone system has been changed, you have absolutly no chance of speaking to a human. No way to even try. All you get is a recorded message saying they are busy and please leave a detailed message. I left that message Monday morning, and again Monday afternoon. I called again Tuesday morning and Tuesday afternoon. I never received a call back. On Wednesday morning I called and again left a message, asking if I was for some reason no longer able to see her. Wondered if i did something and she didnt want to have me as a patient anymore. By the afternoon, and still no call back, I spend 2 hours trying to locate a primary doctor who would take a new patient and give me my pre-op exam. I was able to get an appt this Friday. I am sorry to loose a good doctor, but my time is worth alot to me and I got the feeling I was not important to her anymore.

I can't say how good of a doctor Dr. Adams is because I never got a chance to see her. I had called for an appointment as a new patient on 9/26/17. They couldn't fit me in for almost a month, on 10/19/17. This caused me to run out of a BC prescription so I was at risk of getting pregnant. Then the morning of the appointment they called me at 7:51 AM while I was asleep, and cancelled my appointment because she had an appointment herself, which I understand. However, when I called back to reschedule the automated system said the office was closed. I called again 6 times over the next few days and no one picked up. I left a message on 10/24/17. It is now 11/3/17 and no one has called me back. I had to find another doctor because I ran out of my antidepressant and was going through withdrawals. Avoid this office.

Making a appointment is nearly impossible to do The count girl is rude ,but Dr Adams is one of the best MD she is very kind and very thorough with her examinations ,she a keeper in my book
