First Watch - Crestview Hills

I am not a complainer nor a reviewer but this was the worst service experience I had in ten years. I went for breakfast while waiting for my dad, ordered a frittata and coffee. The waiter helped everyone around me but me. I asked four times for a refill of coffee while he carried a coffee container around to other tables. I eventually just walked up to the sample carafe and helped myself. Never came back and checked up on me. I had to send the cashier to get my complete check. Heck I was going to order take out for my dad but I decided against this by this point. I wasn't even going to do anything but once I left and went directly to Starbucks for the coffee I wanted, I decided to share.

Stopped in at morning opening for breakfast with family. Wonderful reception and very pleasant crew. Incredibly clean and comfortable atmosphere. Coffee so fresh our all nighter seemed to fade away. Breakfast was very tasteful and garnished well for our liking. Ordered a takeout lunch as well. No fuss there. Moderately priced and most importantly recommended for all.

This is not a review of the service or food because it was one of our favorite breakfast spots in the area. My problem was that on Saturday last week we were shopping at the mall and decided to have breakfast. The wait was considerably long but we really enjoy the food. Upon entering we were told there was a 45 minute wait. Okay we had the Enquirer to read and were in no hurry. After an hour my wife and I and half a dozen other folks waiting started to question why so many people were coming in after we did and going to a table. I questioned the hostess as to how much longer before we would be seated. She said 39 more minutes.Those using the app were put at the top of the reservations and we keep moving to the bottom. We found this very unfair that a regular customer would be treated this way without being informed of their seating policy for folks using the First Watch App. We left along with other customers who were waiting with us. The staff agreed the policy was unfair but there was nothing they could do because management made the rules. We probably won't visit again after being treated like second class citizens.
