Glorietta Bay Inn

amazing hotel. Amazing staff. All the little things (like milk and cookies at night) made me feel like I was staying at the Mandarin Oriental. I highly recommend the garden suite, it was the best SD experience in my entire life.

I can't begin to express how amazing our stay was here. We have stayed in plenty of hotels the customer service here is unmatched! And the history is great! Our room was a great size the patio overlooked the bay. We stayed in the spreakles suite. I called and Claudia personally called me back within an hour and made my reservation- gosh they know how to make people feel special here! We were welcomed with a card and a bottle of champagne, at night milk and cookies were brought to our suite, in the morning breakfast brought up!

Very comfortable historic inn. This was built as a home in 1908, the craftsmanship is incredible. Nice swimming pool, breakfast daily with good selection, beach chairs, boogie boards and towels to borrow for the 15 minute walk to the beach. The staff is SUPER helpful, you will feel like an important guest from the time you call for a room.

We had a really great stay here. The hotel is really cool classic with a bit of history about the place. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was great and the staff always very helpful. They even have beach equipment you can borrow like umbrellas, chairs, toys, even buggy boards. Will be staying here again!

It could have not been any better.... only suggestion I would say is there's too many people at breakfast time heating up the sausage and eggs maybe they should do it in the back or put two microwaves out but I like the pancakes it was a nice touch
