Holiday Inn San Diego - Bayside

This place was amazing all the way from the start. Me and my other individual stayed for 3 night. BRITTNEY was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! we went for our anniversary and she made not getting a upgrade seem like nothing. She gave us a king away from everyone which made for a really quite stay even though we were right on the street. Also she gave us some drinks on the house and breakfast for the days that we were there. This specific individual is the top of this property and whatever her boss does with her should be something like move up the chain if she is not there already. She was so kind and so nice to us it felt like home and so comfortable to stay. Way to go Brittney we really enjoyed ourselves and I think a huge part of it is because of what you did for us. The one thing we didn't get to say way THANK YOU!!!!! So much for all that you did, going above and beyond is how things make people happy. Outstanding.. I could go on and on but truly exceptional service.

Have stayed here many times in the last 10 years and always had a wonderful experience. Love the location and rooms on the putting green have a lovely garden view and are perfect if you have kids because of the easy access to the pool. Nice patio/balcony in the older building. Nice pool/spa, restaurant and bar on site. Also love how close it is to the America's Cup Harbor. Very nice walk to see the boats and many restaurants and shops along the route. Easy routes to the major beaches and parks. Walking distance to Denny's and McDonald's so the kids are happy. Also, bartenders, restaurant wait staff and room service waiters are wondeful compared to what I have found in more expensive resort settings.

This is a very quiet hotel! Always clean and very low key. The van drivers who drop us off are always exceptionally nice and super helpful. There is a restaurant attached that is nice too! The gym is a little small but very clean. I like to stay here! And the bay is right there

This is a large property separate into multiple buildings. If newer more modern is your preference make sure you are in the building where the lobby is. If you like a traditional California cozy room super quiet, but family friendly due to the better older construction. Example you can't hear foot falls in the room above you then pick a room in the other buildings. All the rooms are great and right next to the marina with great views and food. It is a quick trip to downtown, airport, ball park, SeaWorld, and pretty much every where. The staff have been friendly and housekeeping great!

The rooms are kinda old and the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything! But they do have a quiet side with signs up. It only helps if you have quiet neighbors though. You can get your parking validated at the front desk. Location is great.
