This is an upscale chain hotel. Fast, friendly service and easy online booking make this an easy choice when visiting San Diego. It's not close to the beach, but convenient to all major attractions, if you're driving. The free parking is a bonus that you won't find down-town. There's free Wifi and a nice breakfast bar. Popular with travelers and those who know the area. The convenience store across the street has sundries.

Super friendly staff, clean rooms, pool and workout center. What more can you ask for. Oh yeah, the price is right. Thank you holiday in express for a great stay.

Smell really bad in the rooms and hallway. I can hear people walking, running and talking in the hallway day and night. Price was cheap but quality was terrible.

Our stay over the New Year's weekend was pleasant and relaxing. I am especially appreciative of the housekeeping and front desk staff for their help. My husband accidentally left a suit coat and dress shirt in the wardrobe. They held it and it is being shipping it to our home in Colorado. They go above and beyond for guests.

Rooms small, need a little updating. My end table was broken, the wooden cabinet was broken and off centered, so it would shut when opened fully, the carpet in my room was ripped at the corner. Service was great, front staff good, and housekeeping very good.
