Go Buses NY

I love taking go bus. With family out in the Fairfax VA area this bus has the most convenient stops for them to pick me up from. Plus the few times I've taken the bus it's been really clean and have always got to my destination pretty quickly usually around 4.5 hours or so.

The go buses from NY to Boston are a good deal. The point system is great, the buses are clean and a good price point. I never used the wifi, so I can't comment on that. The last bus I took didn't have enough outlets. So a very nice lady sitting behind me let me use the one plug for my charger while she used the other. So I then shared my cable with the person who sat next to me. We made it work, but a minor annoyance. There are a lot of different bus lines offering trips to NYC to Boston with the option to get a bus that stops in Hartford, CT as well. I continue to use them for when I need to get to NYC.

It was pouring rain in NYC. There was a line of people waiting in heavy rain. This was the 5:30 bus from Manhattan to Virginia. The bus driver was ready to let the soaking passengers in at 5:00. However the two GO bus employees were on the bus - doing whatever. They did not check the passengers in and let them on the bus until 5:15. I have never encountered such unprofessional behavior in service industry employees. The 2 Go bus workers had no consideration for the passengers. They wanted to stay dry , on the bus and not go into the rain. Usually Go bus workers are prompt and polite.

Terrible drivers. So how found a route that took over 6 hours from Newton to NYC on a day with light traffic, and this isn’t the first time. Not making this mistake a third time

I would give them a better score, but I have reached out to the customer service department via phone call several times, and have sent an e-mail and I have not received a response.
