Penn Station

Crowded, but efficient service. You can tell that the people who manage the station has a lot of experience and knoweledge. They do know what it feels like to travel. The trains are very punctual, so you better be, too or you will miss your train.

No one in their right mind would go here if it wasn't part of their commute. The place is packed and poorly laid out so that you have large crowds trying to make it through narrow corridors to get to their trains. Extremely poor signage to exacerbate this situation. Most of it is hot as hell, year round. Low ceilings, dingy, and poor lighting. Has paid "musicians" clogging up the hallways while people are trying to get through during the rush. Since there are only two tunnels under each river for all the trains other than NYC subways, which haven't had their signal systems updated *ever*, you can count on lots of delays. Amtrak owns the tunnels, so all the daily commuters on the LIRR and NJ Transit get screwed by this.

Very crowded station. This station is very crowded and it's hard to move around. The directions aren't that clear but you can make your way around eventually. Some people may try to hustle you so don't look confused if you can help it. Trains leave exactly on time so I recommend you get to your track earlier than the departure. The ticket kiosks are easy to understand and they are quick so that's good. Make sure you don't loose your family, friends, or belongings because you more likely than not won't get them back.

This station have a variety of places to eat the bathrooms on the upper area is pretty clean

This is the best place . I must suggest to have a visit from any part of the he world.
