Great Plains SPCA Pet Adoption Center

There for the cats!! We have two already, but we'd be excited to have a third if we found a good match. As a cat fan, this is by far the most enjoyable shelter experience I've ever had. The cat rooms provide a great opportunity to see how the cats interact with each other and allow you to interact with them in a free roaming environment. There is a dog room with a few free roaming, but most of them require staff participation to more directly interact. Some of the staff leave a bit to be desired at times in their customer service interactions, but I would guess that's an understandable reaction to the sometimes discouraging business of successful placing animals in loving, respectful homes.

They need to have more adoption counseling people towards closing time. Wasn't even able to see the dog I wanted because they were short. But staff was very friendly.

This price is a great way to get a new pet and your family. They always have new dogs up adoption, and you can always visit and play with them in their indoor or outdoor visiting areas. Staff are friendly as well

They are doing the good work here. Also they work with you to match you with the pet that is best for both you and the animal you adopt. Good people.

Good pet adopiton facility, that actually allows you to tour the facility and see the dogs. I've been to other places where you can't walk around, they keep you in the front lobby area and pick a dog off the list for you that they think matches you. So for Great Plains, You get a HUGE PLUS! THANK YOU!
