My brother in law was supposed to depart Plainview on Greyhound
#7311 at 1:05 today 1/5/18 and his bus was delayed. Understandable with the weather, but we were not notified of the delay. At 1:50 I called customer service and was informed of the delay and was told the updated arrival was 7:30 pm tonight. I called at 7 to ensure it was still arriving at the scheduled time and 7:30 was confirmed. At 7:45 I noticed on the tracker the bus was past Plainview. My brother was standing out front and no bus had shown up.I called customer service again and was told the bus was on it's way to Lubbock and never stopped in Plainview. My brother in law has been there since before noon today. I was on hold for over 40 minutes trying to ensure that my brother could catch the next bus at 9:15 since they refused to contact the driver of the first bus or have him turn around. My brother has been standing in front of the pick up station all day! Now the 9:15 bus is delayed and they could not guarantee the driver would even allow him on since his ticket was for the earlier bus that never showed up! They can't notify the bus driver of the 9:15 bus to allow my brother on. This is BS. I have talked to customer service today three times- a call center with reps who have no ability to assist us. We will never use Greyhound again. Now the tracker says this bus is delayed by half an hour...I'm just trying to get my brother in law to Austin. I paid for the ticket, come on guys!

As a designated stop for the Greyhound transit, the station here in Plainview is by far the most unprofessional place of business I have ever incountered in my life!!! I have chosen to travel with the Greyhound bus company for my trip home. We had the terrible misfortune of having to stop in Plainview to pick up a passenger. Our driver decided to allow a 10 minute break period for smokers, and to stretch our legs. Myself, along with a few other passengers decided to enter into the establishment to purchase some refreshments. Immediately inside we were hollered at to leave the store and get back on the bus. To quote the store clerk, " if you're with the Greyhound bus, you are not allowed in my store. I want nothing to do with y'all and you need to get back on the bus and leave before I call the police." Now, not a person in our travel group was being rude, displaying indecent behavior, stealing anything or exhibiting any foul behavior that would necessitate in calling law inforcemant. I, myself, am a correctional officer and a U.S. Army veteran. Rest assured I will be contacting the necessary personnel and report the clerk as soon as business hours are open. To include the station itself to talk to a manager, Greyhound affiliates and Plainview chamber of commerce.

I wonder if Geryhound executives ride the bus. I doubt they would endure what others must go through here. I have to wait here at a convience store for an 11:35 p.m. bus in the cold because the store closes at 10:00 p.m. Greyhound could at the very least make sure their customers are comfortable while waiting for the bus. I don't think it's too much to ask for indoor seating especially when the temprature drops below freezing.
