Greyhound: Bus Station

My 21 yr old daughter in college took her first greyhound trip from Michigan to Abilene. We thought ok it's sketchy but let's give it a try as it was more cost effective than a flight. Absolutely Horrible experience and we won't EVER be doing that again!! She was on the bus gor 3 days, had to change 3 busses along the way and had about 20 stops, had a police stop as a few patrons got into an arguement with the driver. Then was stranded in the middle of her journey for 3 additional hours before another bus came to pick them up to complete their travel all with intermittent spotty internet wifi and cell service it was a complete nightmare!! Not to mention they have a bus tracker so you can keep track of "your person" on the bus. It wasn't updated and kept showing the "broken bus" in transit and heading the complete opposite direction as the original destination. Then she arrived in Abilene to what we thought was an actual bus station. Nope was a convenience store with no signs nor signals that its a bus station. Do not recommend unless you have plenty of time and lots of patience for the unknown.

Waiting for hours, my boyfriend and I almost missing our flight, it should not be very difficult to have a driver ready at a said location once the bus arrives. Very irresponsible... If I didn't have to take this bus, I wouldn't. (Although, as a college student, 200-400 for an uber or flight is pretty steep)

Would have been nice if app worked to prebook trip n get discounted rate still paying cash at station when i pick up my ticket

If you have other options, explore them. Terribly unorganized; don't make time sensitive plans like catching a flight... good chance you'll miss it.

Busses cancel here all the time. Schedualed a trip out in a.m. now im still sitting here waiting almost 12 hours later.
