Hampton Inn Groton

Decent and affordable pricing for over night stays. A little less than 20 minutes from Mohegan Sun which is a plus. Staff is also very polite and respectful. The only thing I really disliked was the "barn yard " styled bathroom door. As you slide to close it, it's not entirely closed as there are gaps on both sides. That makes it uncomfortable for people who share a room together. IF they went back to a normal door for the bathroom it'd be perfect. Also free breakfast from 6-10 is GREAT.

Ok, always love to stay at the Hampton Inn but this stay, I realized that they renovated the rooms! Now most people would say great right? Well whoever designed the rooms needs to go back to school for design!. This is not Europe where people don t mind open bathrooms!! Who puts a barn door on the bathroom?? Literally there is a 2" gap where if u walk by, u can see the person doing their business! No lock on door and no bathroom fan either! Hello? I don't mind sharing my space but there are limitations! U hear,see, & smell everything!! Yuck! This needs to be changed asap! Also, I have been promised that cookies are available yet they never appear. I've tried several times to partake but..oh well. Please Don't offer them if they are not coming! On an up, very friendly front desk woman and the place smells and looks super clean which is Awesome!

Great customer service. Okay breakfast but it was ready when it opened. Rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. I appreciate the usb charging ports on the lamp and nightstand.

Clean and comfortable hotel. Reasonably priced. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Typical Hampton inn. They did have a bunch of snacks and lasagna out when I got there though. Kudos for that, which is above what a normal Hampton inn will do.
