Comfort Inn

The Comfort Inn we stayed at was currently undergoing some construction, so we could not eat breakfast in the breakfast area, as the doors were open due to construction and it was very cold. The free breakfast was great though. We especially enjoyed the waffles. Also, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Five star luxury service at a motel! From start to finish, everything has been delightful here. The evening front desk clerk was extremely professional and welcoming, and even offered us bottles of water upon checking in. The motel is extraordinarily clean. Every piece of chrome in the bathroom is sparkling and not a crumb to be seen anywhere here. The bathroom is well-stocked with nice with basic amenities, and the shower is modern and very clean. The room is attractive with typical but higher-end motel furniture without any visible wear. The beds have crisp linens and duvets. There are modern outlets for charging phones, etc., next to the bed. Our room has a very clean microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker. I didn't have the breakfast but my husband wandered down and came back full and happy with an excellent bagel in hand for me. If in the New Haven area, the extra 15 minutes on the freeway up from city is well worth the very pleasant stay.
