Hyatt Place Milford / New Haven

Great place to stay in the New Haven area. I spent one night here, but the staff was very nice and helpful. My room card had deactivated at some point during the day and they were able to get me back in my room with no problem. The room is contemporary and pretty quiet, with the bed being much more comfortable than other hotels. I would definitely come back.

We stayed there when my husband donated a kidney to his brother and had to spend time at the Yale New Haven Hospital. The staff was accommodating, and kind. The hotel was clean and the Pool and sauna look like they were great although we did not actually try them. When we asked about getting something to eat, they very kindly pointed us to the center of town which we had somehow managed to miss and all are driving around. When he goes back for his rechecks, we will certainly be staying there again.

Smoke alarm went off from the hot steamy shower. The bath tub water goes down extremely slow. Not to mention they charged my card and additional $200 and I don't even smoke. Candles were lit for my bubble bath. They said candles are considered smoking but it doesn't say it in their policy. The management is very rude. They didn't even reach out to call me to let me know about the $200 nor send an email. I don't recommend this place to nobody.

We were able to check in early. The room was fantastic. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We would definitely come back.

This is our go-place while visiting the coastal Connecticut. The staff has been really nice and accommodating. Breakfasts have been hit and miss, but more good than bad. Rooms have been quiet and very clean with good a/c. Some of the rooms have couches that look like they need cleaning, but that's really all I can criticize. We will definitely be back.
