Herrington Manor State Park

Herrington Manor is a fantastic state park. Great staff. Clean facilities. Kayak, canoe, paddle board rentals, swimming, fishing, hiking, cabin rentals. Concession stand after Memorial Day makes sticking around convenient if you don't pack food. I wish the beach was bigger when the summer really hits, but it is what it is, and weekends can be crowded.

Great place to stay. Inexpensive and many of the cabins have been recently remodeled. Bring your own radio cause there is no radio or tv in the cabins. The beds are slightly small but fairly comfortable. Once you get the wood stove going you won't need to use the baseboard heat at all.

Beautiful snowy weekend. Lots of sledding, ton of fun. This was our first trip to Herrington Manor. Need to come back when the weather is warm.

Nice sunsets, you can rent kayaks or bicycles during the open season, you can see the Bald eagles in the late afternoon!!!

It's a great family location for grilling and swimming.
