Wonderful place, hike is a little long but not very strenuous. We never had to stop for a break even though there were 3 children 4, 8 and 10. We all absolutely loved it.

Wonderful hike to two beautiful falls. About 1.2 miles down bumpy but manageable road. Had to cross small creek, but many cars did fine. Mine was a RAV4. On the way back, steam came from hot brakes, but all Ok! Saw a ~7 ' black snake on the trail

The trail is marked with a green blaze and the hike can be rather muddy even a few days after a good rain. Also, there is a river crossing where the bridge was damaged about halfway through the hike. Nothing serious, maybe three feet.

Great hike, beautiful waterfall. near Brasstown Bald. Main road to parking has a small creek to cross, which you will not be able to go over after a heavy rain in a low car.

Sorry, don't believe its A 1.2 mile hike. Felt way longer then that. But it was very pretty. Worth the hike.
