Dr. McDonald has been caring for my animals for over 20 years. Such a wonderful and kind group of people work here. It shows that they truly care about their customers and their pets.

Great place. Very nice and attentive. Also, as far as I can find, cheapest way to neuter a cat in town. I called 4 different vets in the area and they were the cheapest by about $100! Been in business 30 years so must be doing something right. We will go back.

Although I have only had 2 experiences with this clinic, I cannot praise them enough. After finding a stray cat, I knew I needed to find a good vet. The first day that I brought him in (10/10/16) was just to see if he had a chip. The receptionists were very warm and welcoming. Although no rooms were available, the staff were very accommodating, and quickly scanned the cat for a chip while we sat in the waiting area. Moreover, they gave me cat food and lent me a cat carrier so I wouldn't have to drive the cat back home in the box he he had come in.
The next time I brought the cat in was for a scheduled check-up (on 10/12/16), which the receptionist had been nice enough to schedule for me just that morning. Not only were the staff as warm and welcoming as before, but they also remembered us -- a great sign for a local vet! I had been wary of bringing the cat in for a check-up, as I knew some vets would take advantage of his lack of history and my naivete about all things cat-related. But there was no need to be concerned. As they were aware that I wasn't planning to keep the cat long-term, they made sure to only perform the tests and vaccinations that were necessary for the cat's immediate health, and they explained each procedure to me so I understood which should be done now and which could be done later (and why). Furthermore, they were all more than willing to answer all of my naive questions about how to take care of a cat. And before I left, they made sure to give me a sample of flea/tick medication (which they would have put on him themselves for no additional cost had he not just received medication in the same spot this one was to go).
The extraordinary customer service and quality care the cat and I experienced at this clinic demonstrate that it is much more than your average clinic, and it was obvious during each experience that they are all doing what they do for their love of pets, not money. The cat has since found his forever home, and if I were to ever get a pet of my own (or find another stray), this would be the place I would trust to care for them.

Nice enough people, nothing extraordinary. Unfortunately, they charge three times as much for a neutering or spaying as any other vet in the area. That certainly doesn't say much for their social consciousness. We'll go elsewhere.
