Overall, my experience was good. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent location, the room was better than I expected (awesome bathroom!) and it was overall a decent price. The decor was very hip and modern without being overwhelming, which I really enjoyed, from the lobby through to my room. Everything was clean and comfortable in my room as well.
My two issues are that the windows need some sort of soundproofing. I was on the 9th floor, but facing Calvert Street, and it sounded like the window was open even though it wasn't. I'm sure that would be a major undertaking, but I've noticed other reviews mentioned the same thing. It wasn't a huge issue for me, but it was noticeable. The second thing is parking: I understand that there is no official garage attached to this property, but it would be good to be prepared with suggestions of good local garages and lot options for guests who did drive. I did get a great weekend parking deal at the small garage on Water Street behind the hotel, but I had to seek that out on my own.
I would definitely stay here again, though; the two issues I had were not deal breakers by any means.

Hotel is in a good location, close to cruise port, inner harbor, and sports stadiums. Modern feel, very comfortable. No real lobby but the assistant manager greeted us immediately and checked us in. Valet was easy and not too expensive ($36). Service was great. Room was very nice, modern. Beds fairly comfy, better than most hotels I've stayed in. Room cost reasonable. Overall a pleasant stay and would return if in the area again.

Excellent hotel, beautiful, hip interior. Attentive staff. Great food and wine. Only trouble was whatever was outside our room (the windows were frosted so we couldn't see)was very noisy. Heard trucks coming, going and backing up (beep, beep, beep) all night long.

The room was spacious and I loved the decor. However, there was no mini fridge in our room so we had to throw away left overs almost every time we went out to eat. I did not like that. Construction was loud in the mornings as well. Overall though, I liked the vibes and the pillows were great.

Relaxed, friendly atmosphere with all the important perks. Don't let the informal lobby vibe throw you off. The staff were extremely friendly, the breakfast (you pay for that) was delicious, the free coffee was far superior to most hotel lobby coffee, and you can even use a bike to get around the Inner Harbor area. My room was spacious, the bathroom was huge, and the bed was super comfortable too. It took me a minute to adjust to the place, but now I wish all hotels were like this.
