Kentucky WiMAX

This is the absolute worst internet company. The customer service is awful and you’ll never ever get within five megabytes of what your paying. If you can I would definitely look to a different company for your internet needs.

Great service! I couldn't be more happy with the service. Tech support is great and I have zero complaints. The complaints on here are silly. Half the people who complain on these reviews just don't know how the internet and bandwidth works. Take my advice, go with Kentucky Wimax. They will treat you right!

Only service offered where I live. And as you might imagine - no competition for them means no incentive to “wow” you with service. Though we have only had a few interruptions with their internet service (which is understandable), a recent outtage cost me over $60 in data charges on my phone plan. When asked if they would be able to credit my account for the money that their failed service cost me - I was told “um, no”. Thanks WiMAX.

Worst internet ever!!!! Always cutting out can't hardly stream video and God forbid you have a problem on the weekend you will just be sol because they don't answer the phone or chat on weekends takes two days to download just absolute garbage and I pay 80$ a month for their supposed best package and the crap never works they are just ripping people off because they know we have no other choice way to go if I had another choice I would definitely take my business elsewhere but for now I'm stuck with it so be warned they will suck but if you live where I do you have no choice...

This internet service will serve all of your most basic needs. You can pay your bills, use Facebook and YouTube with it but online gaming is going to be hit or miss. Broadcasting via Twitch just isn't happening. One person in your household can stream HD video, so long as no one else is trying to do anything that might take up bandwidth. Chances are, you're paying $80 per month for the 10 MB package and getting roughly 6 (mine clocks in between 3-5 usually. 9 on a real good day). It's a bit of a hard pill to swallow because we've moved here from the Louisville area where we were paying $60 per month for 300 MB. But, let's face it, this is the kind of internet connection you have when Spectrum and AT&T tell you that you're too far from the road to be serviced. On the other hand, Kentucky WiMAX's customer service has been very good. That's a huge factor for me. I only hope that the technology is set to improve and advance in the near future. A sustained 20 MB would be much more do-able.
