Kern River Fly Fishing

I never write any reviews on anything I do but I gotta say Guy and his wife Kim are awesome! Good people that are willing to teach you and give you tips about what and where to go on the Kern.I took the beginner fly fishing class and learned a lot!Guy is very informative and is very easy to learn from.I highly recommend this class if you wanna get in to fly fishing.I'll be taking the next intermediate class as soon as the rivers not "Blown out"lol.Oh ya and thanks for the awesome sticker Kim!!!

Guy is the best! So nice, very knowledgeable, friendly, and always available to help. The selection of flies and gear is great. They give great advice on where to go, what flies to use, and have some awesome video updates that really help.

Nice selection of flies, and very knowledgeable staff, they even have classes, and trips to go on.

One of the best shops in Kern County. Always willing to provide information about fishing and the conditions of the Kern. They know their stuff! The owner keeps his employees well educated on what is taking place on the river. Even if you don't fly fish, they are still willing to inform you on the area! Stop by! You won't regret it!
