Santa Ana River Lakes

Loved the over night fishing.. AND there IS OVER NIGHT FISHING THERE.. I just found out.. 24 HRS FRIDAY&SATURDAY. Happy fishing.. GOOD LUCK!!

The lakes are stocked heavily Every Thursday by the Cal. Fish and game authority. With large trout catfish and blue gill . the kiddies pond is sticked with fish on Friday night fir the weekend and the pond is open from 7 to 3;30 on Saturday and Sunday. And there's no fee but the $8.00 per. Poundbcorbtyrbfishbyoubcatch. It is a NO CATCH AND RELEASE. FACILITY SO BRING I BUCKET FOR YOUR CATCH. THERE IS A LIMIT IF 5 ( FIVE ,) FISHBOER ANGELER...

This wasn't the best first experience, of fishing at a lake, but it was very well taken care of. They have a shop with all kinds of things you need, but be careful thanks can get a bit pricey, the idea is to come prepared. In case you want to go fishing and say you didn't come prepared they have rods for rental.

I've been coming here since I was a kid, got skunked many a time. Heard my dad say "we are never coming back" (we always did). Now as an adult I come to fish and the only negative I have to say about is the rediculous prices and the fact that it's next to a freeway so that "getting away" feeling doesn't apply. Overall it's a good time if you have a few adult pops and 28 bucks to piss away. I have witnessed people catch some monsters and I'm determined to do the same
