Very rocky here. It's not a true peir, so you must have a valid California sports fishing license with a salt water enhancement. Otherwise it's free to fish. I've seen 20 different species pulled from there. There is a lot of big-rigs driving by so be aware it can be loud. No tackle shop either

I remember in the 80's this place was thriving with Bonita fish. Now it's just a place where people come smoke pot. Bonita don't come around anymore. due to the expansion of the container port's.
