Jess Ranch Lakes

This place is awesome! Jess Ranch has their own hatchery, the fish they raise are much higher quality then your typical farm raised fish you would get at the store, particularly the Trout. The lakes and pond are stocked every Friday afternoon, with no travel involved the fish are not subjected to high stress loading and planting, they aren't "doped" either like other stocked fish must be to prevent shock. There are two lakes to fish and a kiddie pond. If you get skunked in one of the two lakes you're entry gives you a free catch out of the pond. The pond is great for kids learning to fish, my daughter is 5 and can't stop talking about all the fish she catches here. The pond is free for young kids and admission for adults is just $3. Every Trout you catch costs $4 and you can pay an additional $1 per fish to have them cleaned and bagged up with ice, it's an awesome deal. You aren't paying for the fish by the pound, the $4 charge is per fish. Trout stocked in the pond range from a half pound up to about pound on average in our experience. The staff is great and always helpful. By Sunday the pond is relatively light on fish and during the week it's nearly empty. Between predatory birds picking off the fish and the weekend crowd, your best bet to arrive early Saturday for the best odds.

During trout season I try to fish here every week but usually make it every other week or so. They stock on Friday afternoon so Saturday is usually the best day but it can get crowded sometimes. Sundays is less crowded and is still a good day to go. I went this past Sunday, 3/18/2018 and caught a 6.2 lb. trout. I have been going here for years and will continue to keep coming.

This is a private, Gated RV Resort. Nice, Clean, Plenty of grass, Paved Roads, Concrete Pads. Mostly full timers. Most lots have a small living unit, must have an RV on site. CC&Rs. Lot rental thru owner of each lot.

Got there in the Morning and Caught wide open Bass all Day and then in the afternoon i caught a 15 lb. Channel Excellent Day of Fishing !

March 10th today. Yesterday arrived there just to scope out the place. Looks great as they've advertised. Didn't get a chance to test out my luck on the Trout angling, yet. Today, unfortunately, it's raining so I can't go, but I'll see how tomorrow will turn out. Will give an update to my comments here after I've tested 😉😎
