It wasn't as big as lake arrowhead but at least it was for public use. We were surprised of the privatization of lake arrowhead in a national park. Lake Gregory is also about 3 miles from Lake arrowhead village which is nice if you want to stop by to shop and eat. The size of lake Gregory is actually great if you want to kayak from one side to another. The waters are clean with the exception of natural algae making the water darker. The view if you face the forest is really relaxing. People fish here too. Great place to take a mini nap.

I visit this place about twice a year and I enjoy the walk around the lake. What have change the past few years is the expensive parking fee. I can understand that maintaining the lake requires labor and hence money. But going there for an hour walk and paying $10 is expensive. Of course i park on the road as many others do and for that reason the parking lot most of the time is empty. My suggestion: I wouldn't mind paying a $2 fee for my one hour walk as part of my appreciation and contribution to the park. Thank you for your efforts to improve the Lake Gregory!

Love, love this lake, every time I come here I discover different things. I like to do nature walks and just take photos of different stuff there. Beautiful place.

Great place to take your family on a hike. We walk around Gregory all the time. It's easy and only about two miles around. Also has a great dog park. All the locals are friendly, never had a problem.

Excellent lake to go trout fishing. Has a water park with slides for the kids and teens. You can rent paddle boats, paddle bikes, row boats, and troll boats as well. Has a great jogging path that goes around the lake with little work out areas every few hundred feet. Also has a dog park as well. One of my favorite lakes to come to.Parking is free. No extra fee to go fishing.

I haven’t been fishing here for over a year, but the place sucks for fishing now. I went last weekend, and found out that they hardly stock the lake now and on top of it, they charge for fishing now! The parking isn’t free anymore either. The way to avoid the parking fee is to park on the side of the road on the turnouts. It was a crappy day of fishing in general, we used to come all the time and always hit the limit. Didn’t get a single bite all day, including the folks around us. Still a nice lake to walk around, and to go to the water park during the summer. Not worth fishing anymore though.
