Great place to bring kids to learn how to fish. My son loved it here. After his first time fishing with his cub scout den, he read more about fishing and watched several videos on how to fish. He then asked if we can go back to catch some more fish. We eventually went back to go fishing.
There's so many Trout here that young kids will catch fish no matter what, which can be good and bad at the same time.
It's good because they won't have to sit and wait a long time to actually catch fish. It gives them a sense of accomplishment. Plus you'll just see their faces light up when they catch one.
The bad thing is that it's so easy to catch fish and you can rack up a huge bill if you don't watch them (there are ways to make sure they don't catch one right away). You can't catch and release so you'll have to buy all the fish you catch, and it can get expensive.
Just make sure you're up for Trout for dinner. It's best to prepare and cook your fresh catch that evening as it's always better if it's fresh.

Beautiful little spot up high in the mountains. Lots of large fish and helpful kind staff.

You catch them, they kill and clean them. Trout are even bagged with ice for the drive home. I feel like the price is very reasonable for the experience although not everyone in our group felt the same.

Long story short........ When my son was 3, I took him for his first fishing excursion. Yes, to the trout pools. He was able to catch fish, feel the tug of what seems to him, A HUGH one.. He is now 11 years old and has been fishing ever since. I now take him deep sea fishing and his latest was a 30 lb yellowtail.... This place makes fishing awesome for kids and not boring. Kids will be hooked for sure. Thanks Guys for doing business.
