Enjoyed a family member's wedding held here in February. This place has a ton of character and you can just feel the history oozing out of it. We had no issues during our stay other than some noisey heat pipes which apparently is just something you have to deal with in historic places like this. It wasn't too bad and we were able to sleep thru it eventually. In the winter, it felt like we had the whole little town to ourselves. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes quaint historical places to stay.

Rustic and welcoming. I love the Lakeside Inn. sit on the front porch on one of the 20 rocking chairs and watch the sunset over Lake Michigan.

Private beach, free breakfast...nice ammenities. Beautiful historic place with exposed wood, cozy area in the lobby to sit by the fireplace, relaxing area to play games, large hall for wedding receptions, private parties, nice rooms at different prices, really a well run place. Two nights for the price of one this time of year (off season, we stopped in this month...November). A great choice if you're staying in the area.

I love this historic inn. Beautiful arts nd crafts furnishings, overlooking Lake Michigan with miles of sandy beach. Great for weddings and weekend getaways (we've done both here!) Not super-fancy, but really nice

Had a fabulous time at at the Lakeside Inn. Although it was only for one night, the experience was wonderful. The charm, history and setting make this a great destination. The staff was very cordial and friendly.
Looking forward to future stays at this gem of southwest Michigan.
