This was the cutest place! So happy we decided to stay here! Has the feel of a bed and breakfast but on a larger hotel scale. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and modern. Loved the fitness room. Bed was comfy, but walls were thin so didn't get the best sleep, but that's OK. Loved having restaurant on site. Would probably be really nice in the summer with the outdoor pool and outdoor bar area 😊

The hotel is beautiful. And clean. Planks restaurant has amazing food. Would like to come back on a Thursday night for their complementary happy hour. Only bad thing is you can hear everything! Not very sound proof rooms. I shouldn't be able to hear people sneezing. Didn't really hurt my experience though. Would come back again and recommend

We stayed during the week, harbor side. What a let-down! Very loud rooms. Front desk girls during the day we're nastily unpleasant. Restaurant is overpriced and average. Over breakfast, a group of hotel management sat at a table close by and loudly discussed how to make more money. It was uncomfortable. Pool was out of order, but not mentioned on website or when I called to book. Front desk guy over night was very nice and spa was wonderful. Besides those two things, I could not get out of this hotel fast enough.

As a whole, really great experience. Unless you know where the spa is, there isn't a major indication where it is on the property. I asked the front desk of the hotel and they pointed me up the stars with a smile. The staff was friendly, offering water or something else and, even though I was a half hour early, as recommended on the site, I was taken back by Laurie after just five minutes. I was there for a pedicure (really, I'd wanted a massage, too but a wedding party was basically taking over the spa the whole day), she prepped my area as I picked my color polish and I got comfy. She explained how to use the massage chair and got me soaking, and explained what she planned on doing and what it was for. I appreciated that since his was my first experience with a pedicure. We chatted and I told her it was my birthday when she asked if I'd come as a gift or something, the conversation was easy and come to discover she'd been a client of mine at a previous job. The final results were great and, though I think I'd picked a paraffin treatment to go with the service and didn't get that (being my first visit, I'm unsure but the experience was so nice, I don't mind this time, I'd have to research), it was great. My polish needed a little more time to dry and she wanted me to use the relaxation room but the aforementioned wedding party had it full, so I couldn't use any other service I wanted or had wanted to consider. Apparently this is a normal occurrence, especially in the nicer weather since it's smack in the middle of the tourist hub. But Laurie, myself, and the receptionist (greeter? appointment specialist? Who are you? You were nice!) chatted with me while the polished finished drying and I got ready to leave. There was a but of confusion at the time of pay, I'd misread the service menu online and had come mentally unprepared for the total with the 18% gratuity that automatically generates on the total. But they were great and adjusted the price a little.
I definitely plan to come back and get that massage one day. Hopefully I can find a day where twenty people haven't taken the place over, and it's sooner than later. The place looked great, clean, seemed to have good amenities, and a friendly staff. Disappointing that they'd even be open if a whole large party is going to stop others from using the amenities, though.

Rooms are nice. Couch was a pullout which was nice. Staff was good, for the price you pay a night I'd expect free hot breakfast, but they use the restaurant attached for that. Which is also pretty pricey.
