Lots of great trails. Next to Lake Michigan, Hamlin Lake, Lost Lake and a few rivers. It was a nice place to visit for two days. We camped with our 23ft travel trailer and found that the campsites were pretty close to each other. We stayed in the Pines campground close to Lake Michigan. It was close to the lake but a 300 yard hike up/down the sand dunes to get to the lake. Beautiful area, lots of trails to walk on - the only downside was that the campsites did not have much room, they were very tight.

Michigan is the most beautiful state I have been to by far. Tennessee is very nice as well. The people are so friendly and I recommend anyone who wants to take a trip to a nice Beach or just a vacation Michigan is the spot. Especially lettington Michigan it is right there by Lake Superior. The rooms they have are family owned wonderful customer service and just nice all-around also very affordable if you go at the right time of the year.

Best state park/campground in the lower peninsula. Amazing beach and superb hiking trails. Rustic hike-in and regular drive-up campsites. Only downfall is that this park is extremely popular and is always busy.

Camped here in April 2017. Beautiful state park and excellent camping. The spots in the semi-modern campground (tents only) are pretty close together but in a beautiful spot with tons of trees. Bathrooms were clean and updated. The beach is beautiful, dunes are super fun for kids to play on. We only stayed one night but can't wait to go back.
