Found this place by accident while in the area yesterday. I had a strong urge to turn around and pull in, which I ended up doing. Wow, I am so glad I did! It's absolutely beautiful with very nicely maintained trails! Just be aware there's lots of stairs, if you're not used to that.

It is awesome like the reviews state. Lots of steps. Be prepared to carry the kids. Know this. It is not a state park. It is a county park that charges admission of $7 A car. Memorial day to Labor . it is self pay and it is policed all day. A state park sticker will not work. It is worth the price especially when you are slapped with a 40. Ticket if you don't. Yes it happened to me....

Wonderful little park. It appears that everything is well maintained. My wife and I enjoyed our walk and sightseeing. I would definitely go back.

One of the most beautiful lakeshore parks in Ottawa county. Be prepared to hike alot of stairs along a trail about a mile long on the dunes and through the woods. Best to view just before sunset as then the light will make all the sand "Rosy".

Perfect place to take my kids on a hike. The trail was spectacular, they have bathrooms at the beginning and end which is very convenient. Great family adventure!
