Best place to bring people who haven't seen the big lake before because whether you access through the tunnel or climb the dune for a bird's eye view the impact of it is always breath taking! In summer it can get crowded but there's lots of parking even shade for taking a break from the sun. My kids love the play area and the space to run around on the grass while we prep dinner if we're there for the day. Changing rooms are available but can be smelly on a hot one ;)

This is a great county park and beach. During the summer months, you have to pay to park, or there is parking across the street for free as long as it's not full. There is a lot of open grass area with grills and pavilions for parties. They also have a play set for kids and a bathroom/changing room building.

A great place to swim or enjoy a picnic. The area is well-maintained, which makes for a nice evening for either you, someone special, or a large group to gather and have some fun!

Such a beautiful park, with a wonderful beach and plenty of space. They have stairs up the side of a dune, and a big sand hill that the kids love to run down. There's a sizable set of shelters and grills for having a cook out, and a playground to distract the kids. Parking nearby is free, and the tunnel is so much fun.
