Awesome beach just down the road from Silver Beach! Not crowded and had a wonderful sandbar for smaller kiddos to play on without getting knocked over. No lifeguards on duty at this beach.

It started , I wanted to see the lake on Michigan , while cruising in Michigan and I pointed out a town and it end up being ...St.Joseph . II've recommend family , this way they don't have as far to travel to a beach.

As a local, this is my go to beach. Clean, not as crowded as the others. Has a public restroom. Can walk out to the lighthouse. Can't give it 5 stars because the cost to park is so high. Used to be free. Not bad if you buy an annual pass, but still a lot to shell out!

What a treasure! Found this place on a whim during an afternoon adventure, and it was the perfect spot to take it easy...even in the middle of February. My advice is to hike the little dunes, even "...at your own risk." You'll be glad you did!
