Silver Beach County Park

We visited on a weekend getaway, the weekend after Labor Day. Many people told us we were brilliant for coming the week after Labor Day, cause the entire summer season, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, the beach is packed. There might have been 100 people total on the entire beach, the says we went. Beautiful white sand, cool breeze coming in off the lake, and no worries in the world. Kids can have a blast either digging in the sand, and trying to bury each other, or there is a great playground with swings, slides and other activities right at the entrance to the beach, where kids can play.

Such a beautiful view... Fresh water lake but massive like an ocean.. A place for all... It's a perfect place to go on a beautiful date, a picnic with family, play date with ur baby's friends or just a casual outing.. so Serene... Watching sunset here is one of my favorite things to do

Great Lake Michigan and light house walk. Play place for kids and beach volleyball. A Beautiful place to enjoy sunsets

Beautiful beach, you would think your in Mexico, not Michigan. Plenty of parking, lots of activities in the area for kids. A short drive from Illinois to a small piece of paradise. Perfect mini getaway. Silver beach pizza is a must try.. Line is worth the wait or place your order and take your pizza to go on the beach. We will definitely be back in the summer!

I come here to shoot wedding portraits senior photos and family portraits. This is a beautiful venue for parties fun and photos and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to partake of these things.
