Very wonderful view of the lake. Great exercise climbing the massive dunes. I just cant wait for the water problem to be dealt with. Water has flooded the main trail, but you can only do so much. Great place, friendly visitors.

As long as you pack bug spray to make it through the forest path and then sunblock for the dunes and beach, you are in for the the time of your life. I really enjoyed tropical-appearing long grass before the beach with the white sand 50ft dunes in the warm season.

Note that the signs posted by locals saying there's no access to the Park along the beach are false. Michigan law grants the right to transit the shores of all navigable waters below the high water mark: i.e. you can walk along the beach all you want!

Its hard to get to. Not much around. Very private and usually not busy. The beach is getting washed out but that keeps people away. Trails are hard but awesome. Great views. Love coming here

It's a beautiful little spot. Be prepared for some dunes though on the north side.
