Great beach with plenty of parking. Easy to get too also. Wide beach spots and plenty of coast to walk. Everyone friendly and clean as well. Beach has close restrooms with plenty of sand dunes which are exilerating and fun for all ages. Costs $10 for the day or $50 for the annual. Have fun and enjoy!

This is likely the best beach in the area. It is busy on weekends but not too bad on weekdays. It does have a city charge of $50 for an annual pass. The parking is ample and beach is clean and well-groomed. It sometimes suffers from hillbillies that like to park their boats too close to shore.
There are boardwalks to help sand travel, some light food, and bathrooms. There are showers to rinse feet. Some houses are starting to appear on the south side but nothing too close or gaudy.

Outstanding beach on Lake Michigan. Simple drive. An absolute TON of parking. Very clean. Lots of great beach area along with picnic tables and grills. The bathrooms are clean and very handy to have. They even have a few swings that overlook the water. GORGEOUS! Extremely easy and accommodating - you just drive up, park and the beach is right there. There is no hike or walk to get to the beach. A really gorgeous beach!

Love it here. I went here after going on the sand dunes ride. It's close to the beach, no walking like a few blocks in the sand just to get to the water.
