The beach is nice and very accessible. The coolest thing was probably the overlook. Note you have to walk up 201 stairs (I counted with my daughter) but there are benches to take breaks. The views are decent but I would recommend heading up to Ludington State Park. I also saw the biggest squirrel I've ever seen.

Hoffmaster is an amazing park. Lots of great trails, beautiful beach and pretty clean bathrooms. Great place all seasons!

My favorite beach on Lake Michigan. Great hiking trails and amazing dune views. Not usually overcrowded and a perfect beach to go to if you want a place to appreciate nature and experience pure Michigan at it’s finest.

It is a beautiful place with great hiking trails. Campground is kids friendly with many activities for little ones. Dogs are allowed on a side beach. Would have given it 5 stars, but the beach was somewhat crowded.
