North Beach

One of the best beaches in Michigan. -It’s flat and clean. -There are many parking lots just where the sands end. So just steps away from where you’re basking. You can get your stuff from your car whenever you need them. The parking is pay ($10 May through September). -There is also a small play ground for kids on the beach. -restroom is nearby. (Although to me it wasn’t clean enough! But as a beach toilet, it’s acceptable)

Soft sand, long sidewalk, playground...reminds me of Venice Beach in LA, CA. Great playground. Better than South Side Beach for smaller kids. Remember to pay for parking ($10 for whole day). Sand volleyball court.

It's always so much fun by the water. It is always clean and well maintained. The public restrooms are always clean as well.

It's a beautiful place but it can get crowded quick on hot summer days.

This is a popular beach in south haven, it is not as easily accessible from the downtown because it requires crossing the channel and, although it will be packed full on peak season, it is in general quieter than the south beach. It has access to the pier (channel north break wall) but it is a narrower pier than on the other side of the channel.
