Weko Beach Campground

Close to the water and close to the next camper. Super busy during the season. Mostly all season campers but still a great place to hang out. A couple of great beer and wine festivals there

We called in advance. They said they had sites available. When we arrived they were still sure they had sites, but did not know which ones. We drove through all 3 campground "loops". No sites available. These people are clueless!!! I didn't get a picture, but if I did it would be a pile of dog s--t to match the campground.

We called well in advance and were told that they do not take reservations. We are located 6 hours away and were concerned with not having a reservation. We were assured that if we came in on a Wednesday they would have "plenty of sites available." We arrived on Wednesday as scheduled and were told they were full but people were leaving in the morning. We started calling the office as soon they opened (actually before) when we finally got an answer we were told "those sites were already re-rented for the day." If you have any kind of a drive at all do not count on staying at this place!! Almost every other park was also full and we ended up having to drive 40 minutes out of our way! If you plan to stay in this area MAKE RESERVATIONS somewhere else!

Well is our favorite beach! It's stunning! The cabins are cozy and a short walk from the beach. Kayak and surf board rentals are available during the summer months and taps is played at sunset! We just love it!!

Nice campground, good sites, clean bathrooms...close to the beach!
