Washington Park Beach

Very nice beach and Lake Michigan waterfront. There is a lot of space to enjoy the water. There are also sand volleyball courts and a regular park to use and enjoy. There is also a pier with a lighthouse. I recommend taking a walk to the lighthouse and enjoy the view. There is a small daily parking fee of $8, but it's well worth it.

I'd never gone swimming in Lake Michigan before. This place is just awesome though! The tide and sunshine, oh man it felt so great to just hangout in the water with some family and just absorb those beautiful Ray's of sunshine. Took my wife walking along the shoreline, had some laughs, took some photos. If you want to unwind from the daily grind, take a trip to this beach. It's clean, plenty of lifeguards are there, and you can cook your own food there too.

A good place to chill and hangout with friends. Nice photographic locations at the light house and the nuclear power plant. Usually not so crowded in April and May.

It's a good place to enjoy the Michigan lake. You can easily reach the lighthouse. Good for relaxing, jogging, reading and taking a breath of lake wind. Around you can find some restaurants (not so cheap), i suggest to go from May to September. I spent sone days in Saint Joseph and went there some times after work.

I’ve been taking my daughters here for years and now my grandson! Very clean beach, with a zoo next door, easy parking and short walk in the sand to the beach! Love it
