My husband and I found Lions Park Beach by accident this week and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!

Yes, it costs $10 to park for non-residents, and it IS well enforced. However, this is for 24 hours, we stayed all day then came back to watch the sunset. Cleanest beach,  bathrooms, and changing rooms I have ever seen. Close parking right at beach, easy to carry your coolers, chairs, etc.

Definitely be back. In addition the park area is amazing for kids of all ages.

Beautiful beach. Stumbled upon this beach when I couldn't find anywhere to park at Silver Beach. Enjoyed a picnic on one of the picnic tables and enjoyed laying out on the sand. Lots of fun park equipment for kids and some volleyball nets. $10 to park for the day.
