The most popular beach in south haven. It gets crowded fast during the season. Downtown is a couple of blocks away. Restrooms and picnic tables/pavilion on site. Channel walkway gives access to south pier, a classic walk in SoHa. Beach extends south for 100s of yards and there are two sets of stairs to access the city beyond the coastal dunes (one is by the Catholic church, the other one by the Children's place).

I truly love Michigan. I you have the time visit South Beach in South Haven, MI., specialty in winter. Many people visit this place every year, I visit to take pictures. The beaches are great and they go on for miles. Again, if you have time do yourself a favor and visit this great place.

South beach has always been the family beach. Was better before you had to pay if you don't live in the city.

One of my personal favorite places to spend the day in Michigan. The beach is beautiful, the lighthouse is a great spot to sit at, the town is fun to walk around and most everything is close.
