Lunde Auto Center

Lunde was the only place listed in Fargo to get the passenger side air bag replaced due to a Mazda recall. I took the car in and received a ride home, free of charge which I appreciated. Later, I received a call from the shop manager stating that the car needed some bulbs replaced for $20 or $30 which I agreed to, without even giving it much thought. When I went in to pick up the car, I was told by the same manager that he noticed that the air filter was not on correctly so he removed it. I didn't know this but it was an after market part, a K&N air filter that should last a lifetime and I'm told should boost performance by just a little. He stated that because he couldn't put it back on so the replacement would cost me an additional $30. I felt that if they took off a part, and couldn't replace it, that was their error and I shouldn't have to pay for it. In addition, the part he removed cost about $70 and should last a lifetime, just had to be cleaned once in a while. I know the $30 was a small amount but it was their fault for removing it and having to replace it. I even asked the manager what it had to do with the air bag recall and he stated it didn't have anything to do with it. That they have to do a safety check of the vehicle once it is in their shop. I was surprised that they neglected to say anything about the muffler which I know in fact needs replacement or repair. I will not be going back as they remove parts and do what is not asked, and expect you to pay for it.

If you are looking for an honest local business this is one of the best. And the very best salesperson I/we have ever worked with is Mike Aguilar. You couldn't find a more friendly and honest salesperson. Mike Aguilar is the best. We have bought several KIA cars and Mike has been our salesperson and I recommend him to anyone.

Not very impressed with my first time at this service center. I brought my Mazda CX-5 in for service and it needed a new coil installed. 2 weeks later it starts running poor again and I pull the cover off of the engine and find that the guy that worked on it hadn’t even tightened the bolt down on the coil and it was ready to fall out!!! I called them up in service and they guy was just like oh okay well if you have any other issues let us know. Ha like I’d bring my car back to you!
