Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration

After years of dealing with motor vehicles in a small town and looking at some reviews I had visions of long lines, long wait times and other issues when I went to the BelAir office of MVA to register my vehicle from out of state. Wow! was I surprised and impressed. The office was very well organized, clean and comfortable. Christie at the information desk was very peasant and helpful. My wait time was not very long and when I was called I had the pleasure to deal with Berni. She was very pleasant, efficient and thorough. My entire experience was not on;y painless but pleasant. Thank you ladies

I have been here twice. One to register my car from out-of-state and one to get a Maryland license. I had no issues and was surprised how fast everything went. I had everything that I needed before I came because I checked the website and made sure I had the appropriate documents. It was expensive to register my vehicle from out-of-state but I already knew that you have to pay money to live in Maryland!

It's Saturday 3-24-18 and the website says they are open and "less busy than normal ". When I arrived I learned why... they were closed! They closed the Saturday before Monday which is Md day. Perfect logic!? Thanks for wasting my time!

Generic DMV office with long wait times, and a regular staff that either is helpful or a pain. If you have the option, go to a tag and title place that’s private owned, a lot friendlier staff and usually quick service. But, this place is very local, and nothing too serious I can complain about. Oh, and getting a license here sucks. Go to elkton.

It's no secret the DMV is notorious for ridiculously long wait times. This place is very typical. I took my driver's test here. The wait was kind of long but it wasn't too bad. However if you come for any other reason you'll need to have an enormous amount of patience. If you can go to the DMV in Elkton, they'll have you in and out at the blink of an eye.
