Meadow Ridge Apartments

If I could I would rate this company 0 stars! They are the worse to rent from! Rented from the ones in Norfolk, NE. The property manager there doesn’t want to fix a thing or even try to. You try to call and talk to The company they try to downgrade you as if you don’t know how to do anything. For example our windows had mold in them and iced over badly, and didn’t shut properly which left tocdrafty windows and if I remember right the lady I talked to at the corporate office was Karen she tried to tell me that the windows shut hard and she would have the property manage show me how to shut them. I know how to shut a window! Moved out over 2 months ago and haven’t heard a thing from the property manager about the deposit! Nebraska has a law that the leasing company has 14 days to notify you of what is going on with your deposit! Stay far far away from this company!!

I moved in to the meadow ridge apartments in September of 2016. The first couple of months were great but it went down hill fast when it started getting colder. We began to notice that some of the windows are broke and not level. It's to the point where they leaked cold air in the winter and hot summer air in the summer. Even though one of the seals is broke on the window they don't even line up to lock and seal properly. After requesting someone to fix the problem with not only the maintenance man(which we've had about 6 of them between September and January) but Lori the property manager, and her boss kerrin. Which in each case didn't believe us or come see the windows. In fact they insinuated we were stupid and argued with us saying they can't do anything about it. My uncle is a contractor and builds houses for a living and he even said they need fixed. It also took Lori two and a half months to replace our broken blinds that were broken when we moved in. Claiming she forgot about needing to order them. There was also a issue we had about a month ago about our kitchen faucet. Keep in mind when we moved in it was a metal standard one you could get from menards for about 22 dollars. They replaced it twice in the same day with a cheap plastic faucet that has no pressure to it. Which they claimed was 27 dollars. Wrong! We went to menards and found the same faucet and it wasn't even 10 dollars. And when we requested a ceiling fan we got a cheap 20 dollar small white fan that doesn't even light up the dining room. She said that's the standard one that everyone has. When you look into everyone else's apartments they all have nicer bigger ceiling fans that actually light up a room. Besides being cheap we've had issues with people around us smoking weed in the apartment building. Do you think she did anything about it? Not really. She said she'd come investigate and only came once when we called the cops first. I even went over to her office one day to tell her about the smell and she didn't even remember my name. How great right? I live with someone whose allergic to even the smell of it so it gets annoying every time we have to get a whiff of it standing in our kitchen. Also walls are very thin to where you can hear the neighbors screwing, yelling or even laughing. Over all we pay 625 a month for a corner two bedroom 1 bathroom and with the things the management pull here, it's not worth the money being drained from us with their cheap fixes. And we've had good neighbors at the beginning that all told us the same thing. That living here is definitely not worth it and they would not recommend living here even if they seem like great apartments. If I could I'd give meadow ridge half a star for its lack of effort.

I lived here for almost a year with work. The complex is locked down entry so its secure the apartment I rented was an awesome two bedroom loft with two bathrooms. This complex was great and the manager, Lori, is HANDS DOWN the best property manager I have ever worked with! She's got a great friendly manner and she's a blast to chat with! Hands down the best place to live in Norfolk!!!!

My husband and I came to look at these apartments a couple weeks ago. We decided it was not for us and had already paid the deposit. We were told we would get a check sent to us in the mail and that it'd be here with 7 to 10 days. It has now been 12 days and every time we try to call we do not get an answer.
