Slows down a lot. Barely can stream at night time. Bad service personal. Lied to me about pricing. Only good thing is it don't seem to completely lose internet except very rarely. Overall would switch if I had different option.

There is no option for a 0 star. This is quiet seriously, the WORST possible entertainment subscriber that you can use. Unfortunately, its the only one available in my area. If you like sketchy internet service and frequent, random service outages for a hefty fee... look no further. You found your company. Customer service is no better and 99% of the time has no idea how to troubleshoot problems. You end up being transferred around and around and having to hang up and call back to speak with multiple people until you are lucky enough to find someone who knows their job. BUYER BEWARE! If you are able to get service elsewhere... go there!

The internet is super inconsistent and frustrating. The package we have is supposed to be for work and home. We are consistently being disconnected rather it be important work calls or average gaming. When submitting complaints there are times they claim the repairs to be made without following up with us and generally the problem persists.

anybody giving them a compliment or star is an employee or paid.no way you give these clowns any good rating at all.if you are seriously saying you have had no issues and that they are better than uverse or time warner,then your either directly connected to their building or mentaly unstable lol.horrible bandwith,constant outages for hours to days,and constant excuses,lies or totaly just dont know whats up.on top of charging what others provide with seamless service.they data cap and cannot even provide top tier packages.when you tell them you want credit on your bill for all the down time these monkeys want to flip you 15 bucks lmao.hopefully the many complaints to attorney general forces these strong armed cable thieves out.

Hello people of excelsior and richmond, I to have dealt with mediacom for years, and i've been lucky enough to have decent service, in the last 3 houses over the last 9 years. Im not taking away from your poor experiences, because i know they are frustrating. A few tips for your home system and cable health to help you at day of install or even now. --look at your service line where it connects to the house, if its old and brittle, have it changed. --follow that line into house, look at yout other line or lines to the boxes with a flashlight if possible, if there are kinks or really old splitters have those changed. --If all that looks good, make sure all connections are tight and reset your boxes --some times the main lines are bad, you can have a tech check for ingress(noise interference) and if he finds it make sure he puts in a maintenance call...make sure. Good luck peeps! And i highly recommend avoiding AT&T they are without a doubt the worlds slowest internet aside from hughes net and centurlink which are even slower. Plus AT&T charged me for a modem i sent direct to their warehouse(crooks)
