Food was super good. Place is a bit dingy. Got a roll that taste sooo good but it was'nt cut all the way through so the pieces stuck together.

Really wanted to love this place, however...Waaayyy overpriced! This restaurant is in Marina, California. While less than 10 miles from Monterey there is no reason for a restaurant in this city to charge this much. Slooowww service! Keep this in mind if you are in a hurry. That said, the food was pretty good and not over-prepared and the staff was friendly.

We are fairly new to the area and finally tried this place. So happy to have delicious and authentic Japanese food. The owners were very kind and friendly to us. Teka Don had fresh and abundant Tuna and the Katsu Don was tender and savory. Much umami! Tempura was light and crispy. Best green tea I’ve ever had. We didn’t try any rolls, but look forward to trying them next time.
