Iowa roads we're icy in the spring storm that hit today. Only two more hours to go to reach our destination north. But pulling a loaded 26 ft trailer made the choice easy to find shelter in Clear Lake, IA! Senior discount, restaurant discounts at Culver's & Perkin's, FREE cookies at 5 p.m. (First Come First Serve), and nice Continental Breakfast! Carpet looks new, rooms were updated and very clean, and appreciated the unexpected time to relax with my Honey! I THANK GOD for "Wisdom (discretion) being the better part of valor." - William Shakespeare

Great hotel, very clean, and nice rooms. Very simple continental breakfast. We only stayed one night as we were visiting Clear Lake to pick up our new puppy.

Clean little rooms. Bed was good, but bring your own pillow. They were hard and uncomfortable, kept me from a good night's sleep. Otherwise very nice hotel for the price.

Friendly staff with great sense of humor clean rooms and fast service. Don't forget the healthy food provided for the free breakfast. (Don't worry they have unhealthy alternatives available, like chocolate muffins and waffles)

Just a late night stop, with kids. We all got some sleep, free continental breakfast then safely back on the road! I would stay here again.
